Welcome to the Boston Medical Center Department of Emergency Medicine, located in the historic South End and home to the first Emergency Medicine residency program in Boston.

We are a full academic department in the Boston University School of Medicine, staff two emergency departments on the Boston Medical Center Campus, and provide on-line medical control to Boston EMS.
